Concern: Statistics
Pregnancy Care Center stands behind the presentation of facts, research, and statistics.
There is a scene in the film that depicts a client and a counselor debating the effectiveness of condoms in preventing pregnancy. See the following links for confirmation of the counselor’s stance:

Concern: Reliability of Ultrasound
There is a scene in the film that presents the owner of the abortion clinic (please note: she is neither a doctor or nurse) disputing the results of one of the Pregnancy Care Center ultrasounds. Pregnancy Care Center ultrasounds are performed by registered nurses who then confirm all of the results of scans at the center with a radiologist. We stand behind the reliability of our ultrasounds.
Concern: Breast Cancer Link to Abortion
Pregnancy Care Center officially recognizes and accepts the link between breast cancer and abortion, but it is not part of our standard abortion education for clients. The research on the link is represented in literature at the center, and is available to clients should they decide to accept it. There is a scene in the film with two clients reviewing information on the potential link between breast cancer and abortion in a brochure they have received at Pregnancy Care Center. We find it curious that the directors were able to focus specifically on one page of a brochure and elicit the response they so desired from clients who had already left our center.
Concern: Promises of Assistance to Clients
Pregnancy Care Center offers help and assistance to all of its clients in need. There are no scenes in the film showing this support or follow up care. The directors of the film chose not to follow up with client care after their initial visits with us. Had they chosen to follow up accurately with women in the film, and present the facts, the viewers would have learned that the clients featured in the film received ongoing material, financial, and emotional support. This included rent payments, utility payments, legal assistance, transportation assistance, and 24 hour availability for emergency needs.
Concern: Accusations of Undue Influence on Clients
Pregnancy Care Center staff are trained to meet the needs of the clients. There is a scene in the film that shows a client expressing hunger and being offered a meal. She was free to leave the center at any time, but chose to consent to an ultrasound, and wait for her appointment. It should be noted that 60% of our clients come to us because a friend or relative referred them to us; we point to this statistic to emphasize that clients are satisfied with our services.
Concern: Sidewalk Counselors
Pregnancy Care Center operates independently of the sidewalk counselors. We do not direct, train, or educate them on any aspects of their ministry. There are scenes in the film that show the sidewalk counselors engaging clients of the abortion clinic in conversation and offering them help and assistance
